BioHTP: A Conference for BioHackers, by Biohackers

What is a "BioHacker"? Are you one? A Biohacker is an individual who engages in or tinkers with biotechnology outside of traditional settings. Traditional settings being academic, corporate, or government labs. Biohacking offers a unique opportunity for those who are interested in emerging bio technologies to gain knowledge and awareness around the opportunities and the concerns, as well as participate in the shaping of such technologies.

BioHTP is a conference run by BioHackers, designed for BioHackers, with talks solicited from BioHackers. I worked on the programming, event planning, and marketing of inaugural conference in collaboration with Josiah Zayner of the Odin (a biohacker's general store).

The inaugural BioHTP was held September 23-26, 2016
